Gifts from America
I got a big package delivered this week - all the way from the states! It was from my best MKA-friend Celia. I LOVE surprises! Although this wasn’t really a surprise since me and Celia had been blabbing about sending each other a food package ever since we both left the academy. So after what seemed like years it finally arrived! My package to Celia contained THIS. And what I got from her you can see up here. It was a mix of things, mostly from Trader Joe’s. Celia is WELL aware of my fanatic love for food stores such as Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. I got some lovely freeze dried bananas that I munched on as I was unwrapping the rest (impatient, me?), green beans snacks, a chocolate/coffee bean grinder for desserts, a white frosting mix and some PEEPS! It was really cute that she sent me the peeps since one of the other students at MKA made raw peeps for her final and I was the only one who couldn’t relate to what PEEPS was. Haha! Now I know. Weird looking chicks.
The best thing in the whole package though was a lovely mint green cropped tank that Celia had designed herself! The pattern (which you can’t really see on the photo) consisted of small kimchii-jars, kombucha bottles and other suiting things for a person like me. She’s a very talented gal this Celia. I was thinking of maybe coming up with some sort of fun CONTEST here on the blog next week since winning (and giving away!) things is so much fun. Who would be interested in that? Everyone can take part of course. Even if you live outside of Sweden (wink wink at FoodFeud) ;))
